Discover the Rewards of KID'swap!
As Morris County leading children’s consignment store, KID’swap! has something for everyone. “Like New” clothing is just a small part of what we offer. We sell children’s furniture, baby gear, sporting good, computer software, electronic games and toys -- large and small.
Expecting? Visit our Maternity department filled with high end clothes from companies such as Mimi and A Pea in the Pod.
Our store is computerized, making it easy to keep tabs on your inventory, sales and store credit. KID’swap! offers a 50/50 split if proceeds are used to shop in store, and a 40% cut if payment is preferred by cash or check.
Our annual membership fee of $10 is used to process and promote your items during the calendar year. If consigned merchandise is not sold within 60 days, it becomes the property of KID’swap!
We’re thankful to all our great consignors for bringing in such an abundance of goods. But we’ve been overwhelmed with the large number of items being dropped off. Therefore, KID’swap! will no longer be making appointments to review clothing or other items which originally retailed for under $75. If you’d like to consign, just look at our seasonal calendar and then Drop & Run on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. All items we can not resell are donated to local charities.
Please read the drop off rules below. The closer that you follow them the quicker we can go through your items and get them out on the floor for others to purchase.
Appointments for high end items ONLY will be made on Tuesdays -- appointments will be given out via telephone staring at 10 a.m. -- same day appointments.
KID’swap! makes consignor payments on a monthly basis, automatically mailing checks to any consignor owed more than $30. If you prefer shopping with your store credit, stop in any time to use your balance. Cash payments may also be made, allowing for a 7-day return period. You can switch back and forth as the computer keeps track of both.
Congrats to Team KID'swap!
Congratulations to Team KID'swap! who had a Cinderella season and captured the 5/6th grade Girls Softball Championship! Many thanks to coaches Caby, Rush and Luca and all of the girls and parents, for an exciting, fun-filled season : )
KID'swap is proud to be a sponsor of Denville PAL sports and the great teamwork and sportsmanship it promotes. We also have a special consignment account which benefits Denville's many Police Athletic League programs.
In 2007, KID'swap! presented a check for $1,000 toward the PAL's Recreation Center fund, all from the sale of consignments donated to this account.
Similar accounts benefit the homeless and needy of Morris County and other non-profit groups.
Thank You!

Drop Off Rules
Limit of 40 items once a week during drop off dates. It will make it easier to get to everyone's things in the most timely way.
Please use paper bags or diaper size boxes with flaps down. It makes it easier to keep your things stored and together until we are able to look at them and it's easier to recycle! Make sure items won’t spill out. Plastic bags may be used only for larger size gear and toys as everything, if possible, needs to be in a bag. Drop Off Labels should NOT be placed directly on the items as it can damage it.
(-; Helpful Hints and Tips ;-)
* Sort through your things at home and bring in “Like New” items.
* All items should be manufactured in 2005 or later.
* Consignments must be “Ready to Sell”. Wash all clothing. Neatly fold. Keep outfits together.
No attic or smoke odors. We accept preemie to Children’s Size 12 and Maternity clothing seasonally.
* Toys, electronics, sporting goods, furniture and equipment need to be clean, complete, in good working condition
and comply with current safety regulations. Keep in any batteries so we know it works.
* Toys with many pieces should be separated in zip lock bags.
* There are some items we won’t resell or accept, so if in doubt, give us a call.
If items are not complete or clean (in ready to sell condition) they will be donated.;-(
